How does the Betrayal System work.

How does it work in this game? I was just in a CTF match where I was betrayed 4 times. It was frankly annoying, considering half my deaths were just my team being dickheads instead of actually playing the game.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Seems like there is no booting allowed.

You can boot people. I’ve done it before. I’ve only been betrayed enough to get the boot screen in one game, though. Seems like people don’t betray quite as much in Halo 4 as they did in Reach. Maybe it’s just me, though.

The friendly fire system in this game is AWFUL. Friendlies can blow up your vehicle 20 times a game if they want without any consequences. Why would something like this be allowed in the final game??? If you betray a friendly warthog or Scorpion tank YOU SHOULD GET BOOTED. Amazing oversight by 343 on this matter, UNACCEPTABLE.

There’s been a few instances where I’ve killed a teammate by mistake (normally with a weapon like a launcher, or the Spartan Laser) and I’ve been kicked as a result, but there’s also been times where people have actively gone out of their way to betray me and nothing has come up as a response.

I suppose the system is left to guess at what is an intentional betrayal and what isn’t.

Ive had one match where nonstop our team was trolled buy by two of our ‘teamates’ destroying our vehicles over & over & they never got booted. & yet on another match I ran out in front of our warthog & instantly got the choice to boot him, i didnt, it was totally my fault but it seems like it can be very random
