How does the arena rating work?

I am wondering how the arena system works. Ive asked a guy in-game and he said by winning he got to onyx.

Winning and losing is all that matters.

If I may add to Satan’s comments (never thought I would say that) who you beat also determines your rank. Meaning you could spank bronze level Arena players all day long and you will never achieve onyx. Hope that helps, good luck.

To be the best you have to beat the best. You don’t rank up very quickly if you play people worse or equal to you in ‘reating’

Not true.

You could iron boost and only face silver / bronze kids all day and get Onyx.

Heck, getting Onyx is so easy.

The system doesn’t work, OP.
