I heard you can get banned from Halo by doing shady stuff. What is the process and is it permanent? How does it work?

From what I understand EAC monitors the programs running in the background of your game and is looking for aim trainers or programs that inject code into the game. Once it detects you are running malicious programs it will flag you and shortly afterwards result in a permanent ban. Hackers are always creating new tools so the EAC registry is constantly being updated.
There are other types of bans like quit bans which are temporary and bans for habitual AFKing which can lead to a perma ban.
