I decided to give free for all a try and I got platinum. I know I’m not that good. I came in second once and was around 4th to 6th most of the time besides that. So does anyone know how it picks your rank?
If it’s like other Halo’s you get credit, I may be wrong here, for finishing in the top Half. So if you finish 1-4 that should increase your rank, obviously your finishing placement carries different weight.
You can rank up from placing 1-4, FFA is probably the easiest playlist out right now

I really have now idea, for ffa I got placed in Onyx 1500 and i’m assuming it works like the Onyx system works were you move up or down depending on performance but that’s just a thought.
FFA is a joke, way too crowded, they need to take out two players for it to function.
That said i ranked onyx in that stupid playlist. I thought everyone ranked onyx in it…
FFA’s ranking is worthless anyway, but that’s mostly due to the completely botched spawning system in FFA

This, the maps clearly cant handle 8 opposing players spawn at once, you end up in firefights practically off spawn and I have legitimately spawned in between two players having a firefight…
