How do you unlock halo 4 weapon skins (if you can) on standard edition without pre order benefits
I think it’s a pre-order bonus type deal. Cause people with a lower rank than me have it so I’m assuming that’s what it is.
AFAIK only some pre-order bonuses came with weapon skins, of those the only skins I know of were for the battle rifle, AR, and carbine…
Other than that, I don’t know if there are any more weapon skins.
If you didn’t get the pre-order, you have to first reach level 50, then choose a different specialization to rank up in. Each specialization has 1 weapon skin to unlock (I think), and I think there are 8 specializations to choose from total once they are are all released.
Also, standard edition pre-order comes with Artcic Camo skin for battle rifle.
I might be wrong, but I think legendary edition also came with an extra weapon skin (don’t hold me to that though).

Your talking about the altinate Surpresser rifle skin which was alvalible from the limited Console edition.

You can only pre-order it that’s how I got mine. You can try everything but they only let you pre-order it.
Specializations is one of the ways to unlock weapon skins.
At level 5 of your specialization you should unlock a new weapon skin depending on what specialization you have chosen.
Alternatively you could check ebay.
