I’m level 7 and I have yet to unlock an armor piece or any weapon skins… How do i?

Open REQ packs and that’s pretty much it.
Tip of advice:
Start on your silver first to steer away those common to rare items until you receive a 3000 RP refund then you can go opening golds which will guarantee ultra-rare to legendary.
It’s a long road ahead but this is the cheapest and quickest way to unlock all those items in the REQ pool.
You should get armor soon but it took a pretty long time for me to get weapon skins for all my guns, I believe there is a free assault rifle skin but i forgot how to unlock it, the instructions on how to get it should be easy to find on YouTube

My friends and I did bronze first to get all the commons. You also get a lot of boosts and useful reqs from doing those first. If you do bronzes first, you get a bunch of Warthogs, Carbines, boltshots, plasma pistols, railguns, saws, shotguns, chaingun turrets, and gungooses to use while getting all of those common permanent unlocks.
If you want the most efficient way of unlocking everything, go from unlocking all the Bronze reqs, to all the Silver reqs and then all the Gold reqs.
Bronze packs do give you some handy reqs for Warzone - Railgun, Carbine, Speed Boost.
So you aren’t completely useless when playing warzone.

I skip bronze and head to straight silvers once I found a thread on here or in Reddit saying only Mongoose & its variants are the only reason to open bronze.
Gotta use them req packs to fashion right the heck up
Make sure to use XP/RP boosts every game.
Use your req points you get from in-game to buy req packs, silver first then go to gold once you have everything.

Have to buy req packs with your req points. My recommendation is skip bronze buy all silver once you have all common-rare start opening gold packs. Silver packs are 5000 req points gold packs are 10000

You need to redeem a special code for a free ar skin named Vengance. Search it up for the code.
What?
first open bronze packs (you will unlock all the common stuff) after open silver packs (there you will unlock rare and uncommon stuff) and finally open gold packs (there you will unlock all the cool and legendary stuff who everybody wants)

Just open REQ packs or complete challenges for example you can get Helioskrill armor set if you complete all the Halos on legendary on Halo MCC.
