to the first time they see Chief in almost five years? I hope they are like, “Is that the Chief?” and another says, “Yeah, I think so, I thought he was dead!”
It would be nice to have one of the moments where you realize that people know who you are.

I think for the most part they’ll be suprised and really happy to see him. Especially as he is probably an idol to some of them.
But, i think it’d be cool if some didnt show him any respect and were quite cocky with their new MJOLNIR Gen 2 armour. Then there could be a cool segment where the chief gets to show them he’s still boss and earns their respect - he could beat them in a training exercise or something on board the infinity!

That would be a quick time event for sure. Would be cool to see it happen.

When I saw “Infinity” I thought you meant Infinity Ward.
I honestly don’t know. The Infinity/ Spartan Ops are connected to the campaign, so maybe a Legendary ending will show what will happen or the end of Spartan Ops. I think it will be more or less “is that Chief?” and hopefully the other Spartans ,i.e Linda, Fred, etc, will be on board. Their secret mission though is completely unknown so it might not be what I just said.

We never know…hopefully it’ll be something truly epic and emotional.

At this point the Chief is perhaps the biggest war hero to have ever lived, chances are that just about every Marine in the UNSC idolises him - perhaps with the exception of some ODSTs. He’d probably get a warm reception.
Remember that the Chief was never confirmed dead by UNSC forces - just MIA but presumed dead.
