After the next TU, how do you think Halo 4 can improve? There’s only a few things I don’t like about Halo 4, the new match making and custom games lobby layout, in my opinion, is HIDEOUS. They should make it look like Halo:Reach’s looked, even though I hated Halo:Reach, I think the MM and custom games lobby layout looked amazing. This has been said many times before, but 343i should keep the DMR at 5 shot, but they should make the BR 4 shot, it’s only fair. Last, but not least, the ranking system… I’m totally OK with having CSR only viewable on Halo Waypoint, but is 343i seriously just going to leave us with the fail 1-130 “ranks”? They should at least add the Halo:Reach ranks that went all the way to Inheritor. It took people a year or more to reach Inheritor the most legit way possible, many months for those who cheated, so why not implement it into the game?
What are your thoughts about my suggestions, and how do you think Halo 4 can be improved after the TU?
I want the playlists to be separated into “Social” and “Competitive” like how Halo 3 had it. Social would have ordinances, AAs, etc; and Competitive wouldn’t. That way I don’t end up in a game where half the other team is camping in Active Camo or hiding with Promethean Vision. Additionally, I want the BR to be 4-shot and the Carbine to be 7-shot. I also want the aim-assist reduced by a LOT so that it is not so easy to 5-shot with the DMR or 4-shot with the BR. That and the removal of instant spawns will make the game almost perfect for me. =D
- Descoping
- Team Slayer (Not throwdown or infinity slayer, like ranked TS in H3)
- 1 BTB playlist that has Obj and Slayer options
- Reduction in auto aim and bullet magnetism across the board (mainly DMR and Beam)
- In game ranks
- Ranked and social playlists (Ranked Fiesta and IS? Seriously?)
- No sprint
- AA’s need to be pick ups, thats the only way they can be balanced
- Invis as a power up, not an AA
- Not having to hit your action button to pick up a power up (I cant tell you how many times ive lost a power up due to this + lag. It needs to be like previous halo’s, balls of light where you just walk over them)
- A much better quitting punishment system
- JiP needs to go, joining games down 250-40 is bull -Yoink-
- Sprint needs to be taken out of any playlist deemed “competitive”. You need to be punished for being out of position. (Also, sprint + sword = -Yoink-)
There is much much more, this was just off the top of my head 
You have some pretty good points man! I totally forgot about separating ranked and social

BTB Obj - you dont want this? huh?
Descope - it would help with the balancing issues so much
AA pick up - Again, it would balance them. Just like H3 equipment. YOU HAVE TO EARN YOUR ADVANTAGES
Invis - its to powerful to be a AA, always has been always will be.
Quitters - you like quitters? What?
Sprint - It isnt competitive. Period. Why cant there be set playlists without them? how does that effect you? If you like sprint, you can play IS. Simple.

I agree with a lot of these suggestions but one i would really like to see is for experience points to continue building after reaching level 130. After reaching 130 your exp stops building making doing challenges and stuff almost pointless, finish commendations and the challenges become usless

Thats why you have social and ranked bro. BTB would be social so there would be sprint. Also, maybe if you didnt die so much you wouldnt have to keep running back all the time…

Nerf the DMR (slow down RoF at the least, and lower bullet magnetism), and gameplay (IMO) will become so much better. Most of my issues are just with this one gun.
Of course there’s a few other things that’ll help, but the DMR nerf by itself will be a great jump.

Quitting is just a neccissary evil sometimes.
Esepecially if I’m in a match with Randoms who would be better served facing the wall the entire time then playing, and then being up against a clan/team who actually know what the the hell they’re doing.
