How do you think armor should be unlocked in Halo 4?

I think we should have to do things of some difficulty to get them, but definitely not the CR system. There could be some unlock able armor for playing a lot of games, but we have to go deeper than that.

For example, beating the campaign on legendary with all skulls on in 2 1/2 hours while dancing. This would require Kinect though, and you’d probably have to send it in to 343i. With an achievement like this though, you’d get some pretty rad armor.

how about the Halo 3 way?? it was way better IMO

Nah of we do halo 3 system less armour

> how about the Halo 3 way?? it was way better IMO

That’s what I’m saying pretty much. It’s just that all of the armor in Halo 3 was way too easy to get, besides recon.

What?

the halo 3 way with more armor and make them harder to get…

Look for the topic “IDEA-Ranking System For All”

sorry double post

How bout we stick with the credit system for now?

It’s not terrible and it gives a satisfying feeling when you finally get that piece of armor you’ve been wanting.

NO so many people hated this GUH. It should be available to all player there should be a way for people who play alot but are just average to unlock them. because some player just aren’t ever going to be on par with Highly competitive aggressive players but still put there time and energy player every day weeks on end, but just not good enough (k/d, w/l, and expert players) the problem with halo 3 armor system was if you just and average player it didn’t matter how much you played there was no advancing to the next armor.

I say duel unlock for casuals/ competitive which show how they were unlocked IE Competitive will show the amazing feat take to unlock, and casual the time and energy spent to acquire the armor.

At least in Halo 3 It gave me an Incentive to Level up,Reach was sort of the same thing, you wait a while you buy or unlock the armor but I have to go with Halo 3 I felt like I was accomplishing something and really earned it and not by saving money in my Piggy Bank.

That’s pretty much just a challenge of how much you play though. Plus, way too many games do that, Halo should be different. This way would be satisfying as well, as long as the challenges are hard. In my opinion, it would be much more satisfying since it’s more than just playing a lot. I think there should be armor unlocks for the number of games you play as well though.

Have armor pieces that have a greater affect on gameplay be unlockable for the more difficult achievements and the rest that are more aesthetic in to be bought like in Reach…

That’s my two cents’ worth.

So…you like the feeling of saving up your piggy bank than to earn it with a glorious shinny symbol aka your Rank?

I say there could be a few different ways, from completing challenges to reaching a certain SKILL level in MM. I think we should have more armour and armour accessories then ever before, along with colouring options that go deeper then the simple primary and secondary options.

A dual credit/rank system. You unlock more armour as you progress through the ranks, but you need the credits to purchase them in the first place. Also throw in there some unlockables through achievements only too.

Well you have to remember that now the armor will affect the way you play so it will probably have to be the Cr system or something similar to keep balance but i could see a mix of the Cr system and completing achievements like in halo 3.

yes become some player work really hard to earn what they get, and are the best at doing amazing insane thing to unlock armor, some people have the limitation to have to do something that they just don’t have the skill to do and no matter how hard they try never seem to be able to unlock it armor is armor not achievement you can unlock achievement if you want but armor should be worked for in other ways as well.
