How do you think 343 is reacting to their game’s steadily declining population which, after three weeks, cannot even reach 150,000 players in multiplayer? On top of this shattering reality, they have swaths of complaint threads pounding the game to a pulp and ultimately barking at 343’s credibility as a developer. It’s like 343 is being cornered into a wall and has, at this point, but a single trump card to pull in order to keep itself from being killed.
What do you guys think 343 is thinking right now about their current project and their future? Coming back to the first paragraph, what might that trump card be?
well since the halo 4 servers have been down for 4 days now i assume they have just packed their bags and fled the country with all the money they made off halo 4. -Yoinking!- sellouts…also listen to MLG pros reaction here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQHdYqp_E4A
I am tired of this 150,000 players bull-yoink! That are all the players currently in a game. This is excluding those playing custom games, spartan ops, and campaign. Also, give 343i time! We are in a beta right now sadly, but with a title update is it so hard to be optimistic? Damn, Halo 2 was crap before a title update too.

I mean I still vividly remember seeing the Halo 3 population count over 450,000 all the way into December/Janurary of the same year.
October 2007 (because come on, it came out at the end of September) → Dec/Jan 2007
that’s 3-4 months of keeping close to 500,000 players online on average for Halo 3. And 2 years down the road it was still boasting over 250,000 at any given time. Remember, Halo 3 came out 5 years ago.

I imagine Frankie is probably scrolling through the hate threads touching himself.

I imagine he did right after that interview comment where he basically admitted to adding CoD features to steal from their playerbase, too.
Honestly I don’t think 343 cares, and I don’t think they will fix the game.
It would be impossible for them not to notice how many complaint threads there are about the game.
I think its one of those things where 343 isnt going to react, and will just play it off all cool and collected like it never happened. Maybe their plan is to wait it out, and hope that Halo players adjust to the crappy multiplayer, just so they dont have to do anything

Yeah, they are probably running for the hills so they don’t get hit with rocks.
