How do you replay the campaign?

With halo infinite being a “semi-open world” campaign, it dawned upon me the classic mission replaying probably wont be as simple as it was in previous Halo titles. This is slightly concerning for me as I have always loved having the ability to go back and experience the story all over again and notice small details bungie and 343 put into the game. Any ideas on how they will, if at all, implement mission replays?

I don’t see how it would be a problem. Many games with semi-open worlds do this. A good example is Assassin’s Creed - you get a list of missions to replay and when you pick one you just load in at the checkpoint for the start of that mission. When you finish, you load back into the current world.

Or maybe you go to the area where that mission started and activate something that allows you to replay it

I’d be okay with something like this too

They have defined semi-open world in correlation with missions like the silent cartographer form Halo CE, a mission with a lot of freedom in its ways to approach it. So I think Halo Infinite will still have a mission structure to play, and replay. However the maps they will use for the missions will probably be way easier to reuse for extra content or challenges due to their open nature.
