How do you level up Winter Contingency?

I’m only on level 3 in Winter Contingency and I’m done with the weekly challenges. I’ve played about 15 matches post completion of weeklies and I have not moved up a single level in Winter Contingency.

I think you just need to play each day and a new one unlocks.

You play one game per day and get one unlock.

What an exciting event. Nearly makes me want to go on Overwatch again. At least they make an effort.

Well, you can read it in game if you open the news item on the “Winter Contingency” event. If you open the event itself there unfortunately is no description to be found.

So: in-game: yes, at the position where you’d expect it? no

i was confuse too,

im sure they didn’t realize it but, asking player to play each day to unlock each item is a low ball.
everyone is having a good time with there family, sometime far from home in someone else house. how can you expect to play each day. I hope they will think about that on future event.

I haven’t been able to play but I hope I can complete it in the next 2 days because I read you can complete challenges and rank up for progress

Unfortunately you won’t be able to. It is one challenge per day. You will only be able to get 2 rewards at best.

Just play one match per day. That’s all you can complete per day.

play the same time each day it resets every 22-24 hours.

I’m feeling like this is really weak. I played like 7 days and in the last two days have had more time and played a bunch of games but I realize now that I’m too late to unlock anything else. Didn’t care at all for the weird christmasy coatings in a military science fiction game but would have been down to play more to unlock the utility.
