I was wondering how do you level up? From what I have observed multiplier is one way but can you do it in anything else like forge, custom games, or the campaign? If not then that’s stupid. That would just make it a multiplier level not a character level and it would only show how obsessed you are with PVP. So can I do anything else to level?

reading over replies It is just multiplier, what happened to leveling from forge, custom games, or the campaign? What a stupid decision! I hate pvp! How else do you get Reqs anyways, I thought pvp and leveling were the only way is this really true? I still want to unlock things.

To unlock gear you need xp/req which from what I have observed is through multiplayer and leveling. I want to unlock all the gear because I like to fully complete a game. I wanted to get it through leveling by campaign and forge. I like 100% so I am upset that multiplayer seems to be the only way to achieve this, is there another way to get armor that I don’t know(besides paying money)?

You gain XP through multiplier matches. Rank is meaningless though, so it isn’t that big of a deal if you don’t want to play with the rest of us.
Just like every other fps.
I play Warzone. Some people say it’s faster in Arena, but not if you’re in a 12 person fire team, triple cap them, then just core them .

multiplayer* and because of no splitscreen, whats the point of offline play. Firefight isn’t even playable offline either. Hopefully Halo 6 will have splitscreen, who cares if the graphics are horrible in a 4 way splitscreen (you can’t even see that much detail anyways), just make sure the resolution isn’t like CoD Black Ops 3 with the stupid side black bars.

Dude…Don’t get Halo if you don’t like multiplayer, especially Halo 5 because it’s multiplayer is all it has to offer (quality-wise).

I’m still not understanding, and I’m legitimately curious. Not trying to offend, but why do you need a rank to be satisfied when you play custom games?
Also, are you playing games like slayer and ctf, or the “sillier” games like alien invasion and hungry hungry hippos?
