how do you know when you hit the daily credit cap?

ive been playing a good amount for the past day, and i completed a good amount of custom challenges, and now whenever i finish a game and it shows how many credits ive earned, but they dont get added, the bar at the bottom does not move. i dont know if i reached a daily cap for credits, or maybe i earned too many in too short of a time? but im not receiving any credits at all, whether they are from a custom challenge or from a random game in matchmaking. if anyone knows what’s going on, please let me know.

excuse the grammar and spelling

a message will come up on the screen.

> a message will come up on the screen.

Nope, the message no longer comes up on the screen as of December, OP, when you hit the cR cap, your cR will no longer go up, simple as that really.

When you stop earning credits for playing too long. I thought that was obvious, guess not. Though i didn’t know the message didn’t appear (that’s odd). Then again, i play this game a fair amount on some days and i STILL don’t hit the cap. :stuck_out_tongue:

If you hoped for a wall of text OP, then you will be leaving empty handed.

I found it strange at first but then I took a rough guess as to why the message no longer shows and it was because when 343 tried to raise the cap, they managed to raise the amount of cR needed to make the message show up but not the actual daily cap itself.

Ah, such a thing would require a future tweak to avoid confusing players as to not have them believe that they received a temporary credit ban for playing the game fairly.

Eh i am Nova and sometimes play a ton of Reach, i don’t hit the cap no matter how hard i try

The problem will most likely be resolved when 343 fix the cR cap which could be in the Feb update.

As for never hitting the cR cap, you should try using Custom Challenges while playing, it will definitely give you a boost in regards to cR.

Hopefully, can’t wait for the specifics for feb’s MM update.

Hmmm i tried a few of those, sometimes i lose the will to do them but they can be lucrative credits wise. Except campaign challenges, those are hardly what i would call rewarding

The Campaign Challenges are limited because people would just sit with the Target Locator on ONI Sword Base and roll them in, its still possible to do that now and get 25k cR every 10 minutes.

But what you should do for example on a Tuesday or Thursday, whichever has the FF Challenges on, if there are kill specific challenges, as well as completing the Daily, set a custom challenge that is the exact same as it, you practically are getting double cR.

I will do that. Thanks for advice :stuck_out_tongue: It will make getting that Haunted Helm a tad bit easier :stuck_out_tongue:

Its been helping me a lot, 400k off Nova, should be able to hit Inheritor in a heartbeat.

It should tell you when you are close, like a little pop-up when you’re 50,000 credits away.

> It should tell you when you are close, like a little pop-up when you’re 50,000 credits away.

Once again, no pop up comes up anymore and probably won’t until the cR cap issue is fixed.

Actually…my TV gives off a little ‘pop’ and shots out confetti, just like Grunt Birthday Party, when ever I hit the Credit Cap.

a message will pop up

Your Credits stop going up.

Look at the Date if you knew the answer why bump this 4 month old thread?

and i hit the CC every day now 2 weeks strong, yeah its the oni yeah its boring but in 45 min im done and i don’t worry about it and can play what eva i want.

side note i did the weekly challenges and messed up my oni save so back to restarting that again… ewwwwwww its like the 10th time now, i really should name my drives…
the one with oni put on it Nooo dont use dumb Yonker.

Your Xbox tells you to “Go outside!” then shuts itself off.

well even though i know its and old bump i will bite.

3 unicorns show up on your screen and speak to your in 3 different languages.
It took me a long time to translate them all, considering they are talking at the same time, but what they say is this.

unicorn #3 “Wow with out custom challenges you would of not reached this point.”
Unicorn #4 “Unless you did something that could get you banded”
unicorn #3 “Yeah but then they would of gotten on the Forum”
unicorn #i “Yup and blamed/lied and said it was some one else, that they are loyal fans and expect the mods of the forum to be able to remove it.”

Then your tv dings and pizza roles pop out of your 360. Unless you have problems with milk products, then you get carrots… yuppers sucks to be you if you dont like carrots i guess.
Then after you wake up the next morning you find confetti under your pillow, and a flash drive that when you put it in your comp it goes “Yeah”
