I have played Halo 5 for a few years now and something I have never learned is how to get achilles armor set, I see all of these companies talking about earning it, but how do you actually unlock it?

There are many company’s out there farming for achilles still. It should be easy to get in one.

My company isn’t even active anymore sadly 
we unlocked the body and the legs. Never the Helmet so many people dropped the game.
In the Kill Commendations in the Spartan Company you need to do these Requirements
Achilles Armor you’ll need to reach Level 3 in Kill Commendations
Achilles Armor you’ll need to complete the Kill Commendations, you’ll know when it says 5/5
Here’s the tutorial on how to get it the Achilles armour with a Spartan Company that truly wants it before Infinite:
- Join a Spartan Company.
- Spend hours upon hours focusing on each commendation individually, or split the company into groups and focus on multiple commendations at once.
- Complete the Armour.
- Spend hours upon hours upon hours focusing on each individual commendation again.
- Complete the Helmet.
- Yay for you.
That’s the fast and efficient way. The other way, which is the way that I see a lot of companies (who say they want the set before Infinite) do it nowadays, is like this: - Join the Spartan Company.
- Don’t bother focusing on any specific commendation and just play the game you normally play it with very little deviation (that’s the mindset of more than half of the company you’re in theoretically with this scenario).
- Get the Armour in 2-3 years.
- A bunch of your members end up burnt out on Halo 5. so they decide to take a break and go play MCC or other games.
- You and the others continue playing the game with no specific focusing or team efforts, occasionally completing a commendation level just to remind your inner goals that Achilles is supposedly one of them.
- You complete the helmet after another 2-3 years.
Hurray…now you can pick up an armour set after people have probably already completed the next Spartan Company challenge for Halo Infinte.
Note: This isn’t the case of all Spartan Companies as there’s a decent amount who actually obtain the armour at a pretty good rate, but as of the past year I’ve discovered more and more companies that are under the impression that they will somehow achieve the full set before Infinite when they have like a 50 member count and they all either solely play ranked or play incredibly casually.

If a company only has ONE commendation at level 3 and not the rest then YES, you can still get the armour.
You just need to be a member of the company when they get ALL level 3 & ALL level 5 to receive the armour & helmet respectively.

You forgot one.
You join a casual spartan company play regularly for 2 years. Rest of the company gets burnt out. Company leadership loses hope, makes a deal with another dying company they gut the company to join the other company, 2 75’s become 1 100. You get poor, live lapses. Forever alone as they get the helmet. Find new company lather, rinse, repeat.
