SO I was playing when I saw a guy in chief armor. I ask where he got it and he said “If you complete legendary you get it” SO I grabbed a friend and we did this for several hours, finally it ended he getting armor and I getting… well, nothing. Is there a particular achievement I need to claim first? or am I just the victim of a bug.
It’s actually the unmodified Mk VI, not Chief’s armor from campaign.
Just go back and check if you beat every single level on Legendary. Perhaps you need it all solo or all co-op?

Remember to do it online. You will need to complete the campaign commendations to unlock of.
You need to go to your campaign commendations page, all commendations must be completed for you to get the armor, so just check that

Oh come on, I did solo Legendary since Halo 3, it’s not that bad. It’s just plasma pistol + headshot weapon and lots of hiding.
Look at your difficulty progress. You will see it when you select a mission in the campaign lobby. There should be one slot for solo and one for co-op.

Did the campaine on legendary solo and got the armour no probs, it just showed up.

Iv completed it 3 times now but because of connection issues Id disconnect before even getting it. its very aggravating.
