Isn’t everything in this game earned via REQ pack?
got locked helmet by preordering at gamestop
I was told the stars are just an upgraded form of the helm, and to get them you needed to unlock the first one in order to start the next.

I’d like to know the same. Does the ribbon on it mean it’s some promotion only unlock or limited edition type bonus, or is it confirmed that we can unlock it through just earning req packs in game?
All armor can be unlocked via REQ pack. The little ribbon just marks it as “Mythic” item. It’s going to be extremely rare because it is the armor of one of the playable campaign characters(Buck).
If an item such as an armor piece or helmet has a 3-star banner on it, that means it is Mythic. Mythic is the highest rarity above legendary and is very hard to acquire. There is a possibility, though minimal, of acquiring these items in req packs. To my knowledge, there is no other way to unlock them besides opening req packs.

I think its what’s called a Mythic item, and is incredibly rare to get in a pack
I was wondering the same, now I wish I would of preordered from GameStop.

The ribbion means it is a campaign helmet/armor. Owned by either blue team or lockes team
Mythic iteams (bucks helm etc etc) will be one of the Last rng unlocks you will receive from gold packs. Since there 8s no duplicate perm unlocks. Think of it as a board on which every helmet you get. Is literally one step closer to mythic. Clear the uncommons. You start getting more rares, clear rares you get more legendaries. Etc etc. It is a lock process. So game on

I have those too and they’re not unlocked in my collection either. I assume it’s a bug because if I get them in a REQ pack I’m going to be furious.

I think it’s because your Collection is all of the REQ cards you’ve collected, rather than everything you own. Mk VI Scarred wasn’t given via a REQ card so it doesn’t show in your Collection.
I honestly thought that the banner was an indication for a hidden unlock
It would be nice if there was a special way of unlocking those helmets, like the campaign on legendary with the character to unlovck his armor… But I think that they should at least explain how it works to get helmets such as this one
