Specifically, how do you get better at aiming precisely to get more headshots and kill your enemy before they kill you?

I learned through repetition. Just ask a friend to provide target practice for you. After you get used to being good at guessing strafe patterns it all comes easy.

Also for online multiplayer don’t overlook your connection…

You may find yourself more precise on team slayer games rather than BTB games due to inherent lag.

Try :

  • ‘Good connection’ where possible
  • Get a good modem
  • See if your ISP provides a low latency/ping profile
  • See if your ISP provides Annex M for increased upstream bandwidth

Two ways:

  1. Play loads of Skirmiggedon in Score Attack - this really sharpens you up with the DMR or (my favourite) the Pistol, which leads on to

  2. Get the Anniversary MapPack and learn the beauty of two-to-the-body then one-to-the-head.

You’ll be a pistolero in no time! (You’ll be the huckleberry!)
