Every since I started playing halo 3, I’ve been hearing that halo 3 co-op have been lagging. Well, it does the same thing to me.
I tried installing the game onto my hard drive; It’ll work for like 2 co-op games then starts getting laggy.
I tried removing the game off my hard drive; It still didn’t work.
I tried checking my connection by unplugging and plugging my router AND moderm back in; It still didn’t work.
I tried doing a connection test on my 360; It still didn’t work.
I tried getting my friend to remove his game off his hard drive; It still didn’t work.
My mom paid for the internet; It still didn’t work.
It works in multiplayer, but it sucks eggs on co-op.
I have Road Runner and a pretty fast connection.
How do I fix the lag? And how do I make it where it stays fixed?

Installing Halo 3 to your HDD won’t stop Co-Op lag but it won’t be helpful either, Halo 3 was released before the install to HDD support, it makes loading times on Halo 3 longer.
Anyways, Co-op lag is caused by players with bad connections.
The way the Campaign engine works is EVERYONE needs to see the same thing on the screen, the host controls what everyone sees, if any other player has a bad connection, that will force the whole game to pause while they catch up on the packets they missed.
In other words, find people local with decent connections or play local.
Tomorrow, My mom is going to call my ISP to see what’s going on. If everything goes right, then we will have it fixed soon.

I advise you tell your mom to ask for an upgrade on your internet package, it may not be cheap but if you want less lag, it’s the only way.
