It was confirmed by Frankie yesterday in an interview after the press conference that we will see MP today sometime around 1 PM EST and it was later mentioned by Halo Council that the people that will play are Prototype, Best Man, Neighbor, Elamite, Frosty, Naded, HOAX, and Elumnite. Link.
What do you think? I’m mainly referring to the people that think MLG has no affect on Halo 4 whatsoever and 343 should just ignore them. You know who you are.

I’ll be glad that some pros are playing it. I’m tired of all the “pros” on these forums complaining about Halo 4 when they haven’t ever played it. At least now if these real pros complain, they will have actually tried the game before doing so unlike many others. You know who you are.

I just want to see some decent, uncut multiplayer gameplay with decent quality. (ie not filmed in a barn) And if nothing else, the MLG guys will at least play well so it won’t be the awful gameplay we normally get where it seems like the person either has some terrible form of arthritis or they’ve never played a game in their lives.

I’m a little nervous that they are going to be payed to say good things about the game.
Yep, it’s always invaluable to get feedback from people that know the previous incarnations of the games inside out!
They should be able to get a good feel for the game in terms of whether it’ll be fun to battle and have a degree of skill to win opposed to pray and spray. To be honest i’m just looking forward to watching some more strafe action and use of the new weapons!
And? Shootmania had enough of a build going that they held a tourney with top PC players, but I doubt we are going to see that from H4. If anything :
A) Those players are involved in a public demo now, if they give it the thumbs up now for the world to see, they are going to look like idiots -Yoinking!- about the game in November.

B) 343 is under pressure from MLG to “Keep us a part of Halo 4 …OR ELSE”

Same. I’m worried that may be what happened when some of the MLG players played earlier in the year.
All i know is that if they don’t mention anything bad, they either love the game, or are being payed to promote it, and I feel the latter to be more likely…
Oh well, shows how much faith we have in humanity.
But we can always hope for some actual honest feedback.
I am excited to see people who are actually good play this game. If they play more than a hand-full of matches then we will probably see them start to develop strategy and get a glimpse of how this game will play at a high level. Hopefully they find that it plays great at a high level, but only time will tell.
I’m hoping the gameplay will be good. Its a better way to show off a game when people know what they are doing in it, as opposed.to people who have no clue.
I hope they stay honest on their opinions, and give detail as how things work currently.
