I just found out about the freecam built into Halo: Infinite called Machinima Mode. You can turn it on in a custom game. My only problem is that I can’t use it. When I look it up online I only see instructions for controllers.
I own a controller but haven’t bothered making it work with with Halo: Infinite. I’d honestly rather not. Does anyone know how I can activate Machinima Mode in a custom game with a keyboard & mouse?
I dont really use theater alot but i know it shows how to disable UI and go into free cam, usually shows on the right side for the binds, cant remember but just try using KBM as it is alot easier to use in theater mode
That’s a good idea. When I opened up the menu in custom games it only showed the controller but you’re right, it should say how there for KB&M also. I’ll launch the game and take another look.
I tried but it doesn’t say anywhere in-game. This is a setting for custom games and requires me to push a button combo. Seems like I can’t do it at all without using a controller.
Hmm im not sure, maybe make sure your controller isnt connected while you are using your KBM maybe
It’s not connected at all. I’ve never used a controller for Halo: Infinite. The settings menu just shows the controller bindings by default because it’s the first menu option.
I think I was also thinking of Halo MCC’s forge mode that will show you what buttons do what on the menu.
Im not sure honestly, never happened to me when i used theater, hopefully you find a fix soon
I haven’t had any luck with this. I’m going to submit a bug report in a day or two because it seems nobody knows.
