How do you do polls?

I just noticed that there isnt a seperate channel for polls, so I was wondering if there was any way to do them?

When you create a post, click the gear lever button on the right and create poll is in the little menu that pops up

I really like that it’s created using text instead of some javascript or HTML MSWord-style insert. The auto-generation is really nice but the reason why I bring it up is because I think doing it this way makes it more robust. I guess time will tell. Maybe it’s just my old preferences shining through.
