I read the official rules and FAQs but my friends are confusing me on how to apply them.
You have to play the game first, then you apply them right? Or you can apply them first, then play the game?
Any help would be greatly appreciated 
We don’t have the game yet, my friend just applied 170 double exps already…

play the game first. you probably have to have a halo 4 file attached your profile so the dewXP can link it to your account.
You have to apply them to your gamertag before playing, and I don’t think they kick in until 1pm EST on tuesday
You apply them before playing, and they go towards your next game. For example, if you’ve already applied 30 2XP games, your first 30 games on day 1 will be 2XP.

right thats what im thinking, get an auto-save on your profile, go apply codes, then profit from double XP.
its hard to say whether or not your firend “lost” them. maybe he wont get them applied right away, maybe their gone, but im sure they keep records, and if he writes in explaining what happened because of their unclear instructions im sure they will help him out.

You type in your codes and press enter
you click apply codes
you sign in to your XBL account through the DewXP website
you allocate your stored 2XP games to your XBL account.

Yes I am. Just type in the codes, (you could do it right now if you want; you don’t need Halo 4), then link your gamertag to your Dew account. Apply the 2XP games to that account and voila. Your next x number of games you play will have 2XP. If you don’t want to apply all of your codes now, you don’t have to.

im not going to apply my games to my profile until i start slowing down in ranking, i see no point if the first X amount of levels are going to be a breeze anyways.
