How do you access community forge maps?

I’m sorry guys. I’m at a loss. I don’t know how to download these popular community maps everyone keeps talking about. Is there any way you could see a list? Lack of file share makes giving credit to these forge artists hard. from the screen shots I’ve seen, they clearly deserve recognition and they deserve a file share system for all to see. Cutting a few people short here, 343.

  1. Find the map online
  2. Locate the map creator’s gamertag
  3. Search for their gamertag on your Xbox
  4. Add them as a friend
  5. Quit Halo 5 if it’s already open
  6. Re-open Halo 5
  7. Locate their gamertag in the Halo 5 UI
  8. Go to their Fileshare and look in the disorganized mess for the file you initially sought

Easy and quick!

Wow I like that system far better than halo 3’s useless 2 step system lol

You look up another players profile, and below the invite section it will show map variants. Then you pick the one you want and click on it and press bookmark. You can’t download you can only bookmark.

That sounds like a forge killer to me

A bit easier than the other guys 8 step approach, but still harder than H3 great Forge Finder. Ease of access when it comes to user created content would be high on my list of ‘things to fix’ for 343.
