How do the points in Escalation Slayer work?

I can get multiple kills with a weapon, yet only seem to get 3 points.

How is it calculated? How come some can get 10 kills, but 0 points?

Honestly… I dont know either. Ive played multiple rounds of it now and still have no clue what makes kills count towards your teams score.

Kind of curious if throwing those exploding boxes, or choosing not to upgrade to the next set of weapons, so you can kill with the previous weapons still gives you points?

I would hope that both answers would be no.

No idea, I’d be interested to know, normally I just play and don’t much look at the score

I’m sure I read somewhere in the release notes that there was an issue with getting kills with the previous weapon set still counting as a full point when it was only supposed to count for half a point.

Not sure about the fusion coils. I know you can’t pick them up when you’re on the last level.

I wonder if you score a point by getting the actual kill that progresses to the next weapon?
