Why does it seem that it either takes 1 or 2 shots to the body for a kill?
Obviously a head snapshot will kill in 1 shot.
But it seems sometimes it takes 2…
not to showoff but… heehee 
I am fairly certain they have full shields and I’m not hitting them in the limbs.
Idk, I noticed it takes upwards to 2 shots to the body more often in Halo 4 and 5 compared to 2, 3, and possibly Reach…
When you are zoomed out sometimes you think you are hitting somebody in the head, when you are not. Bullet magnetism is not as large on sniper rifles, so what might be a head shot for a BR may be a body shot or a miss for a sniper.

Really? That’s probably one of the armor mods in Warzone then right?
OP I watched the video, and the two spartans that you had to use two shots for were not headshots on the first shots. Sniping the body has always been two shots. The last one was a clean headshot though. Sweet video!
Side note: I jumped up and got a no scope, and the announcer screamed “MIDAIR SNAPSHOT!” and it was glorious.

I jumped off a building in Guillotine in BTB to avoid the banshee. I hit it twice while I fell with the sniper and it asploded. Not nearly as glorious, but a glorious feeling airborne snapshot none the less!
I’m not so sure if you people understand the sniper.
2-shots on the body is a kill.
1-shot on the head is a kill.
Snapshot = no scope.
So if it takes two shots to get a kill with the sniper, it means that the first shot was on the body, not the head.
Use Nornfang, it’s basically a Human variant of Halo 4’s Binary rifle, lol.
No escaping it’s explosive rounds, one shot and you’re done for

it’s like 1 shot from an unscoped sniper rifle to the body = 2 shots from a scoped sniper rifle to the body…but 50% of the time…
