Being AI constructs within a mechanical body, the system that governs injury and vitality would be entirely different to that of a human or Covenant.
Gameplay wise a Prometheans death is brought about in the same manner as a human’s or Covenant’s, accumulative damage.
Though at what point does an AI die and disintegrate into digital confetti? What governs the canonical “health” of a mechanical construct. When a player kills a Promethean, are they destroying a central piece of their inner workings?
I would say they would “die” once some system determines that the Promethean is no longer combat-effective, thus causing a disintegration so it cannot be taken over by the Flood seeing as how the Flood can corrupt AIs.

Words of the wise, makes sense to me.
Didn’t Cortana mention something about the orange frazzle being a data transfer?
Or was it Halsey, I can’t remember.

I think was Cortana in game and a data purge?
But where is the durance stored? In the knight’s body? In a remote location?
Hmmm…
