Let me explain.
With a question.
Why do you still, after 3 months!, not go into the bases to stop them being captured?
Why?
Where is the logic?
“I would die” no duh! But guess what, if you don’t go in…we’re all gonna lose!
People just sit outside the doorway for no reason.
They let the enemy sit in the base.
Why?
It makes no sense, at all.
Yes, you will die.
But take one for the team…
I was on a game and there was someone using a mic telling everyone to go into the base.
I thanked him, and was glad SOME people know what they’re doing.
But still, no one went into the base.
Why do you people do this?
TL;DL: Why don’t you rush a base when the attacks are capturing on WZ: Assault?
I sit outside early game depending on the map cause I can prevent the enemy from entering the base in the first place. (especially on summit) however, as soon as that crap starts to get captured I wiggle my booty into that room and start unleashing hell
I frequently sit in the doorway so my toes are in the base preventing them from capturing but allowing me to be relatively unchallenged because they don’t realise I’m there. I’ve stopped captures many times with this technique.
I never sit outside doorway because it’s pointless. I soon as I pop my happy little face out, it’ll be melted. I usually try to flank or find an alternative/unorthodox way in to get the drop on them.
People make whatever they want to out of whatever they’re given. Treating objective game types like slayer is the most obvious example, but there are a million others. And Warzone Assault is the poster child for this because it offers the most req points for the least amount of time in-game. Win or lose. Design flaw? Who can say…
I made a thread that you guys may find interesting last night, it’s called the Warzone Intelligence Test…
For those of you who don’t feel like clicking here is the copy/paste.
I got the idea for this from my puppy manual, it has a training test that I’m trying to get him to pass, basically the test is to tell him to stay and then start teasing him with tasty treats and see if he stays put. I changed a few things for the Warzone test, but the premise is basically the same, deviation from objective.
The Test: When an player spawns a Scout Warthog and drives in circles round and round outside of the base, garage, etc… Does your team all abandon the objective and chase the Warthog around and around the base while the enemy team captures or successfully defends it?
According to the (altered) manual: (My alterations in square brackets**)** Pass “If your [team] passes this test, congratulations! You may now move on to advanced commands and tricks such as [resisting the impulse to individually charge into a hail of gunfire and meet a glorious death…”] Fail However if your [team] does not pass, then you need to work more on communication and discipline, review sections 1 & 2 [deciding priorities and rewarding proper behaviour.]
Like I said, idea from the puppy manual and from my last Urban game where I jacked a Scout and someone else spawned one and for both the Garage and the Armoury captures we just circled with half the enemy team running around and firing at us… Just like my puppy does when I test him at staying put, minus the gunfire part. I felt quite bad for the other team, maybe two or three guys at a time would attempt to defend the armoury, others would just spawn in and start shooting at us.

LMAO. Somebody gets it! But seriously I prefer WA over regular Warzone any ol’day and I get what your saying. Now if only people understood the importance of sacrifice.*sigh
Too bad people are worried about kdr then actually understanding it’s meaningless playing this mode. Of course it should go without saying but using a mic helps tons.

How about the importance of helping too?
This game is still team based, but people try to go on a 1 man army.
Even if it means all their team mates (ie me) get their banshees plasma pistoled and hijacked.
the only problem with sitting in th base is that it limits your movement. And the constant barrage of grenades that come makes it hard to fight back while inside.
I’m with you on this. While I do care a little about my K/D (meaning it’s great to go positive), I am always using my mic and often say ‘‘go in guys, we only need 1 Spartan in the armory/garage to prevent them for capping it while we spawn’’. Instead they are in their ghost circling the garage/armory trying to get some splatter and from time to time shoot 1 or 2 bullet inside… yep…
Edit1: I sometimes just rush inside and run and run and run with a speed boost allowing time to my team to actually come in.
Anyone who is conscious about their K/D in Warzone or Warzone Assault is a moron. it means nothing, Warzone is more about your Win/loss maybe instead of worrying about dying you should be worried about winning the game. By any means necessarily… Except Cheating, cheating will get you banned

Lol, thx for sharing! I’ve t’mates go straight for those scouts &mongoose’s soo many times…God They really don’t understand the ojective I guess. Perhaps a having a bomb with a 6 min. timer would more sense.
