Been a while since i was on here. I came back to find this link waiting for me.
So thats it then. The elites have now been officially confirmed to be out of mathcmaking (Thank you Jumper Jumps for finding out for us.)
So i wanted to see how the community felt about this. How many people are upset, indifferent, or perfectly happy with it?
How many people are slightly saddened that they are gone?

Badass sure, but overused and boring… thats the only reason i ever played as an elite, ever…
Still prefer spartans, but i am going to miss the elites, they were a really cool part of halo in my opinion.

They still are, they’re just not a part of multiplayer anymore.

Point taken, but i was rather fond of the diversity they brought to multiplayer… Oh well, such is life.
Well, I am happy that they have finally officially confirmed it, but sad that they aren’t in MM.

Agreed. I am also sad to see that more people are happy they are gone.
I know there was a hitbox issue in halo 3 and they were bigger in reach, but is that worth getting rid of them completely?
Ugh. That’s no fun! I agree to the same level as you Silent, all games are just Human vs Human; it’s boring.

Exaclty. Any game can pull of humans, because we know exactly how they act. Thats why i like the elites, they were mysterious and they added diversity to multiplayer…
By the looks of things, halo will not have that diversity until halo five, and the species in halo 5 is more likely forunners than elites.

hitbox issue my -Yoink- i died the same amount of times while playing as both elites and spartans. and i had no issues with killing them. just a bunch of intergalactic racsists if you ask me.
No more dinosaurs… no more choice… no more variety… Dinos worked well in Halo 2.

whats a dino i thought they where the ones that were surpose to be exctint. not elites in no way do they resemble dinosuars. where are there tails?
Elites are being replace by the new enemy anyway so i’m indifferent.
They did say that elites were going to get replaced by another race
I honestly don’t care one bit. The Elites we saw in the Gameinformer screenshots were so incredibly ugly that I’m glad we won’t have to see them anywhere in Multiplayer.
Though I imagine anyone who liked playing as dinosaurs in the past is naturally upset.

Humans have tails. Their’re really just a small extension of the spine, but still tails. Its called the tail bone.
