However, I just opened a Silver pack and only got REQ point cards…?

They haven’t set a date yet on the helmets drop into the REQ pool.

9 Helmets for £7.99 GBP isn’t bad value but I think I’ll probably wait until they’re in the REQ pool.

No, they were taken out of the in-game storefront, but you can still buy them from the Xbox store.
As others have said, they stopped being available via req points on February 21st. While you can buy them with actual money now, they are going to re-release the req pack with all of the helmets so people can get them via req points again. No one knows when though. They were 150,000 points when the pack dropped the first time, it will likely be the same again.

Have they said if the individual helmets will ever be added to the general REQ pool in the future or do you think they will remain 150,000 pts // money only for the entire helmet REQ pack?

Considering that 343i has said that they will bring back the Classic Helmet pack in the future, I doubt that the Classic helmets will be added to the general REQ pool anytime soon.

Like Chimera30 stated, since they are bringing the actual helmet pack back, it’s doubtful they are adding it to the req pool in the near future. That isn’t to say it never will be, it’s just likely they won’t be in the req pool any time soon. I do not think 343 has made a definitive statement on that front, so I do not have a definitive answer to your previous question. This is just our speculation.

The only way you can get them is via the classic helmet req pack. They said they were exclusive to the pack, but now you have to buy the pack on the Xbox store.
