I am somewhat new to Halo 5 and I still have my recruit armor. Ive been playing for about a month and It would be nice to have a different appearance. If I could please get some kind of information to help it would be greatly appreciated.
dude, req packs, you can buy them with the points you get from the matches. One piece of advice though, start off buying nothing but bronze packs until it gives you points back, then repeat with silver, then buy gold packs.

Honestly when I was still working on my commons to rare reqs I just bought silver packs. Bronze packs are nice and all but because you only have a chance at getting a common item it can be very frustrating when you buy 4 of them and get nothing but boost.

I did this actually. I hated not always getting items, so I stayed away from the bronze packs and started with silvers and then I did silvers til golds. Now I’m all done!
Someone once did a complex calculation to determine how much you save by doing them in this order. It’s only about 80,000 RP saved to do bronze before silvers but about 2.5 million RP saved to do silvers before golds.

Can’t really accurately determine how much rp you save by doing bronze before silver since its all up to chance. Technically you could buy 100 bronze packs and make no progress in your req collection, unlikely? yes. impossible? No.

He made an assumption based on his previous experience that he received an item roughly 2/3 of the time, if I recall correctly.

But with a 75% chance the probability of that is 6.22*10^-61
you need to buy req packs to get these, start of will buying all Bronze until all the common are done and then move onto silver and then onto gold.
