How do i turn off skulls?

I like skull hunting, and i found thunderstorm and Famine and thye are making my legendary run very difficult. I like finding the skulls but i want to be able to off the effects. Any tips?

Eject the disk or turn off the box, there’s no other way.

If you are on your Xbox 360, just go to the Dashboard and re-launch the game.

Oops, you’re right, I only play H2 on an original box so I fumbled that one.
