I keep accidentally running people over because 1. They run infront of my vehicle at the wrong time (happens alot more when i’m in a ghost and use my boost)
2. i didn’t see them there
3. All of the above
The only thing I can really tell you is to be more aware of your surroundings and use the guns on vehicles more.
By being more aware of those around you. Pretty simple yet hard for some people apparently.
Stick to open areas so you have a better view of who is around you. If you are in cramped areas, don’t use your boost. Always do a quick check on your immediate view and radar before doing fast moves like boosting. Nothing more to it really.
It’s just about special awareness.
If you find yourself hitting teammates quite often just take some time to check your surroundings and stay in more open areas where you have more freedom to move.
Sadly what I was finding was some people intentionally trying to get splattered by me if I was doing well in games. All you can really do there is take note of their tags and try to stay away from them.
If you’re chasing 152 then obviously losing all the XP for being booted is worse than losing a small bit of XP for dropping a place or two/the FF game ending early due to incomplete round

And even that might not be enough. You need to keep in mind that some people do that on purpose. They run in front of you so you get a betrayal and maybe even get you booted if that keeps up.
I reassure you, I also run over many of my teammates because they pass in front of me when I am in a vehicle.

Better idea; I just stop using vehicles.
Honestly all I can say is don’t worry about it, there’s not much you can do when a Player Blindly jumps in front of your Vehicle, it really is their fault if they get hit
Just a FYI this doesn’t imply to people who actually purposely Run people over

Also, yeah, what my brother Freeland7 said. Use your plasma cannons more often and be a little more careful when boosting.
