How do I see ranks of players before game starts?

How do I see the CSR and SR of the players in the matched game, before the game starts? It’s nice to know the experience of the players you’ve been matched with. I can’t understand how to do this from the pre-start screen.

Don’t think you can… Sorry

you cannot - i guess to prevent quitting at loading time prior to matches

They way I do it, is to press X to view the Friends list. the scroll to the recent players list. From there just click view service record, arena, then that particular playlist.

Shame. They’ve allowed you to see ranks prior to start in every other Halo game. Better for people to quit out before the game starts and search for another player, than have people quit 10 seconds into a game - I hate that!

This is exactly why it was removed. So many times in the beta you could hear people talking about other players KD or their WL. If they didn’t like it, they would leave.

Makes perfect sense it was removed. Helps prevent a fair amount of the quitting problems.

Trouble is those same people, hit ‘menu’ when the game starts and then choose to quit anyway when they don’t like what they see.

I say let people leave the game if they don’t like the opposition when they join the lobby. Obviously it can extend search times, but shouldn’t be a problem if the matchmaking is good.

I wish the ranking system was Halo 2 esque…

No that is not the better option. When my brother and I played doubles in Halo 4 and MCC, dozens of people would back out before the game started once they looked at our stats. The only people who stayed in were people with better stats than us. People keep backing in and out until they find people with worse stats then them and that my friend, is the dumbest thing ever. If you quit 10 seconds into the game, the better team gets credit for the win and correctly ranks up.

Okay, show their armor, stance, commendation completion, armor % completion. Just like the reach lobby.

To view detailed stats, click service records.
The match loads fast enough to where you might get to view two players.

even if you could see everything, if you’re so damn good, carry your team to victory Spartan. The problem is chat, no one wants to coordinate and plan battle plans. The reason…
Kids, most are terrified to chat.
Racists, swearing and derogatory slurs. Enough to make a sailor blush…
the unconfident, wants to be good but, confidence falters upon standoff.
Introverts, they aren’t getting on the mic, no way.

without communication and teamwork, frustration and failure follow.

The problem is the opposition could be VERY misleading. Someone with good stats could do bad that game. Someone with bad stats could do good. This new generation of gamers needs to quit being so dang obsessed with KD. This is not COD.
