- A poster criticizes you for not understanding basic mathematics
- You respond by calling that poster derogatory names
- I send you a PM making fun of you
- You edit your post, removing the name calling, replacing it with “wow you made me feel great about myself”
- You make a thread, playing stupid, like “why did I get this pm”???
- You got that PM because you attacked another poster for simply pointing out your lack of understanding in basic mathematics
- I get banned by biased mods

Going by what I read here, you both should have been banned. He shouldn’t have insulted a poster, you shouldn’t have responded by making fun of him in a PM. Report and move one, respond maturely, don’t stoop to someone else’s level.
So I take it that PM stand for PUBLIC message on this forum? Why do the mods bother telling you to take it to PM when that PRIVATE message is not private at all.
Making fun of someone or insulting them is against the rules regardless. If someone is offended then they have the right to report. You were banned for that apparently, that’s fair (so long as it wasn’t ridiculously long). He should have been banned as well if he was insulting someone.
I asked you guys to stop, and you continued.
