How do i report a player

Hello! I am a new Spartan and I would like to ask you veteran Halo fans if being AFK is a bannable offense in standard matchmaking and if it is, how do I report for this? Thanks!

Report them from their profile on Xbox if it makes you feel better; however, understand that it won’t make a difference if you report them or not

Edit: Just to clarify, I never said it wouldn’t be investigated. I said it won’t make a difference and I stand by that based on what I’ve seen in my 17 years on xbox live. If your the only person that reports them, nothing will happen. If enough people report them for the same thing, it will be investigated and they may get a short ban. A slap on the wrist at best.

Indeed. Reporting them on xbox live is completely useless nowadays. But yes afk’ing/idling is a bannable offense but it doesnt seem to be taken too seriously right now.

You can report misconduct via the support site, their live profile, or the game bar. Contrary to what the above says reports are investigated.
