How do I play capture the flag?

I’m new to Halo 5 multiplayer. I want to play capture the flag like the old days. Every time I pick big team battle I get something called strongholds which isn’t fun at all. I’ve tried about 6 or 7 times now and it’s strongholds every time. How do I change it to capture the flag?

Keep playing btb or team arena, but there is not ctf stand alone playlist.

Lol strongholds is boring but sadly you have to play through it until you get to ctf

How many strongholds do you have to play per ctf? This isn’t fun

It seems like you’ve had bad luck, you’ll get CTF in team arena or BTB eventually.

Go to BTB, it’s random what you get when you go, so you’ll probably have to play some Slayer and Strongholds matches when looking for CTF.

I’ve been playing a few hours, all I want to do is play CTF. I’ve gotten nothing but stronghold and slayer (this is all on big team battle). What is the point of this? Why would anyone think this was a good design decision?

In one of the games, 7 people on the other team left. My team drove around for 11 minutes killing the last guy every once in a while. It’s crazy that a Halo game exists in this state.

Well to play ctf you will have to walk to the opposite teams base, and take their flag from point A to point B and score points by doing that.

Seeing no CTF playlist when I first launched Halo 5 was a huge bummer for me. IT IS MY FAVORITE.

Just keep playing. Guess you’re just unlucky. There was a community CTF playlist few months back

You have to play 5he Action Pack and eventual it’ll get you to capture the flag it’s one of my favorite modes. I love it cause it has us play everything
