Me and a friend are trying to play Reach together. We can’t. It’s not our internet, it’s Reach on XB1 causing the problem. Every other game for every other system works flawlessly.
Does this functionality even work on Xbox One for Reach? If not, then how do we make it work? Every option for it is blocked out for us both, and only on this game.
Do you have each other added on your 360 friends list?
It’s a bit separate from XBone’s friend/follower list.
360 guide is brought up by pressing the View and Menu button simultaneously, while playing any game on back-compat. You have to invite through the 360’s menus.
If you’re still not able to do this, Reach could be having server issues again.

When your in the game hold little the button to the left of the home icon and then tap the start button (small button to the right of the home icon) that will bring up up the 360 menu, any invites to backwards compat games are sent and received there.
