how do i make a public match on firefight?

when i go to make a match on firefight it wont bring me to the searching screen

You have to go to matchmaking if you want to go public to play with other players but in custom firefight you can’t make it -Yoink!- for people to join but try going into firefight on the main screen and try to invite people to it first if that you meant or something else?
