How do I line up items?

Im having a hard time lining up objects in forge, like I can only move the items in one direction at a time, like x and y? Also if anyone has some simplified tool settings that would be great!

You have to use combination of both triggers to manipulate the object.

Ahh its a little jerky and slow, is there a way to make it faster?

If you mean moving it around with LT, then just remove the movement snap, worked for me.

You have to engage magnets and snap. You can adjust how much snap and how strong the magnets are.
