After reading some tips on REQ packs I’ve started only buying Bronze. I am still unlocking some common certs but how do I know when I’ve gotten all I can from Bronze and need to move up to Silver?
There’s a certain emblem you get once you’ve completed Bronze packs, but I forget its name. I would just buy them until I got REQ points refunded.
You’ll stop earning permanent reqs. A good sign of there being no more permanent reqs for bronze is you’ll start to receive uncommon 500req point cards. Same goes for silver accept it’ll be a rare 1500 req point card.
Don’t worry with bronze packs. Buy silver. You are guaranteed two permanent items ranging from common to rare. When the game runs out of items to give you, it will give you 1500 RP per permanent item the game can’t give you (in short, 3000 RP). That’s when you start buying gold packs. Gold packs work the same way except when they run out of items you get 6000 RP total.
I’m pretty sure it plays the grunt birthday sound as well. Although you will still get some commons in the silver packs.

Don’t listen to these idiots. The description for a Bronze pack is that you have a CHANCE of getting a permanent item that is common. You can still have multiple common items available and not get anything from a Bronze pack in 10+ openings. Buy silver until you start earning RPs rather than permanents. Read my above post. it describes what happens when you run out of unlocks.

Nah bronze is a lot better, you get 4 bronze for the price of a silver. And odds are you will unlock more than 2 permanents (although not a guarantee). Do bronze, silver then gold for maximum unlocking and minimum req point spending. Of course if you want the legendary/better items go for gold.

Bronze will get you all the commons faster for the cheapest amount of Req points compared to Silver. Yeah its a “Chance” but the price is so low for Bronze that you can buy multiple packs for the price of one silver and I guarantee you will end up with more Commons this way. Statistics don’t lie. Walshy even mentioned this in December. Not sure how that’s “idiotic”.
The emblem is called Nadir, but I haven’t gotten it yet. You can scroll through your collection and see what cards are Common and Uncommon that you haven’t yet unlocked.
I did Bronze until every other pack no longer gave me Perms. I think I get way more out of Silvers. More chance of RP boost which are always welcomed.

hello my HALO pals, I only use perm unlockd reqs. I have over 1000 reqs I will never use for matters of how I like to play personally. Can I give these reqs to others who want them? Like 70 sniper rifles, many tanks and so on as I would gladly help if someone needs them like to get to bronze, silver or gold if you need them. Can this help you?
