i can’t figure it out. It’s like the disc is broken but it’s new as the day I bought it.
Do you get a message to install when you put the disc in?
Unless you have discs set so they don’t auto-start, in which case it should show on the Home screen, above your pinned games and apps.
I forget if you just tap A, or if you gotta press the Menu button for options to install it.
But also, I’ve had several friends that say their Xbox One won’t give them an install option for back-compat discs. I haven’t had an issue with installing, but the majority of my games are downloads anyways.
If the disc isn’t showing up anywhere, I dunno what’s going on with that.
Are you offline? You have to download the game over Live. You can’t download offline, from the disc.
I noticed that my special edition disc seems to be a bit too thick like the extra detail on the disk gets it a bit stuck in the slot. I can’t get the disc to read and there isn’t even a scratch on there.
How long does it take to read? I haven’t used a disc in my Xbone for ages
i tried taking it in and out repeatedly but it gets stuck and won’t come out every now and then. I’ll probably have to wait till it becomes a game for gold or something. No way I’m buying another copy for it not to work.
reach works on my xbox one but when ever i start a game in matchmaking or custom the game Closes itself
Reach was already in Games with Gold I’m afraid, about 2 years ago (September 2014 I think). I’m not sure if they will do another run at games or not. Do you have any friends who have a disc you could borrow? Or a friend with an X1 that you could try the disc on? The alternative is seeing if you can purchase it digitally - maybe there will be a black Friday discount on it
Is the population split between Xbone and 360 or Is it just the same. I might just play it on 360 if it isn’t going to work. It still works on my 360

I had a bad feeling that was the case I remember halo 3 being on games for gold it would make sence it wouldn’t be long before reach was. Irritating thing is I would of had Xbox live at the time but wasn’t too aware of games for gold and when halo 3 was on it I thought I just got it automatically
