How do i get the waypoint armour stuff in reach?

Ok so if you look at some of the armor stuff in Reach it says to see Halo Waypoint to find out how to unlock it, well ive looked and there is n o info on how to get these items. How do i get them?

You need to use the Halo Waypoint app for the Xbox 360 to be able to unlock these, there’s not other way i’m afraid
