I’m shocked by the number of people I see on Halo Waypoint using the LASO emblem. I know how to get it, it’s just…
I’ve played LASO before in Halo 3 and Halo:Reach, and I’ve never beaten the entire campaign of any Halo game on Legendary with all skulls on. Especially not with Blind; if you remember, Halo:Reach’s Weekly Challenges let you do LASO without the Blind skull.
So, how the heck are you guys doing it? I want that emblem…
Well if you don’t want to feel like a -Yoink- like me and my friend, look up level guides for LASO levels. Me and my friend didn’t think of this when we did it, so besides the Pelican skip on Shutdown, we played through every level the normal way and killed every enemy instead of bypassing through parts of the level. So it took us like an hour a level at least.
Then I go on youtube and see some guy finish the same level in like 10 minutes and I just feel sad.
Well, when I went about doing LASO in November the way I did it was with LOTS and LOTS of patience. You have to take your time, there’s no need to rush the game. Have a full day free to play on LASO, and try to get a good team that all have mics/like doing callouts. I did it with just my one mate Nightmare, and we blazed through it on LASO in one non-stop go… By the end of it we were nearly crying, finally having finished LASO. The whole time we were messing about, and trying to have fun even though it was a serious playthrough on LASO and it sometimes gets you mad, but stay calm and you’ll get through the game without even knowing that you spent nineteen hours straight in your gaming room without leaving
P.S If you ever want help, just feel free to send me a message and I’ll see what I can do in order to help you out on a LASO run.
Yeah, I wonder about this too. I see a lot of people here or in Halo 4 Matchmaking with this emblem. Never tried it though. I seems that it is not that hard (at least for me then, as a Legendary veteran).
I want it too, so we can try it out. I guees it’s always better to play it co-op.

I have never tried LASO, but I have watched guides in on how to.
The biggest problem is Blind and Mythic. To get around mythic you can press select to view which weapon your using, if you need it for a specific part. Also sticking something to your monitor where the reticle would usually be also makes Blind so much easier. Killing Elites on Mythic is not easy. However thanks to Tilt, their weapons don’t harm you as much which allows you to get into nice close quartered combat. Thanks to Iron (or which ever one recharges shields when using the melee attack), you can punch away with a very little chance of dying. Seen as your not doing mythic difficulty, you can just save and quit when you die to avoid restarting the mission.
They are just a few tips I have. Just speedrun it.
So there’s a symbol you can unlock for your sparton in halo 4 for beating the entire game on Laso? Is it just a Waypoint thing or does it actually give you the symbol to sport playing Halo 4? Just curious… please don’t ban me.

You won’t get banned for asking a legitimate question. Anyways, you get the emblem in-game.

…which you can see on several posters here (the skull with the x in the background, that’s the LASO emblem).
Hope, it’s okay, that I took your answer a bit further, Demise. Tell me, if not.
Ok… thats not really answering my question so let me specify, if one player is on one xbox, and the other player is playing on a different xbox and they’re playing together via Xbox live, does it still count? I merely mention this because if your playing ANY co-op campaign situation via xbox live between 2 xbox’s you cannot save your campaign progress, but you can if you were playing co-op on one console.
Follow the guides carefully. Infinity and Midnight are hardest. I had fun with Composer and Dawn. You CAN save/quit immediately when you die, but it’s frowned upon lol. I did anyways ; )

Yes. As long as Waypoint registers the campaign progress. Which your situation does.
