It was a pre-order bonus… so no way to get it now.

I’m pretty sure you can unlock it early in the game as I have it and did not preorder.

Recon in Reach has 3 Helmets. The Base and the HUL. These two are in the game for everyone in the Armory. The Last one UA/HUL[3] was the pre-ordered version. Original Recon was going to be a pre-order exclusive, but they changed that later by letting others gain the other two forms. lol Hope this helps.

Recon helmet wasn’t a pre-order exclusive. My regular Reach game came with an extra code for the Recon UA/HUL[3] helmet. Assuming you also had the helmet on Xbox 360, its possible to download the helmet on the Xbox Store on your Xbox One. It will give you a list of all the DLC you’re able to download currently.

This happened to me, too. I bought a new copy from Amazon and it contained the code. My assumption is that the vendor I bought it from pre-ordered several copies of the game and didn’t sell them all immediately, so I got the helmet.

Also, OP, I just checked Ebay and they have recon helmet codes for sale.

You can still get it by buying a code but they are surely expensive lol, same for Red Flames and the elite of the Code.
You can also get them by License transfer.
