Do you mean it says an error code, or you start the game but mm isnt allowed?
Or did you get a physical disc early?

Most likely this. Streamers are playing the preview arena playlist. I’m pretty sure there is a whitelist so only authorized people can play online at the moment.
If you’re not an approved streamer / youtuber / player right now OP, then you won’t be able to play. There is a small whitelist of players that have been allowd to play early, I guess to show of some of the multiplyer and show that it’s working pretty decently. Everyone else needs to wait until it launches on the October 27th

So even if I have a physical disc installed and the day one patch ready I still cant play until the 27th?

Correct. The official launch date for the game is October 27th
