I haven’t really messed around too much in multiplayer but I would still like the ability to change my armor.
playing to earn points to buy packs
Depending on what it is you would like to attain, here is what I would recommend:
If you are looking to attain any of the Ultra Rare or Legendary armour pieces, I would suggest buying Gold Packs straight away; although you run the risk of unlocking permanent REQs for Warzone or common, uncommon & rare armour pieces
If you are looking to attain as many pieces as you can, I would progress through the Bronze, then onto Silver & then finally Gold Packs
In order to attain more REQ points, I would recommend always putting on a REQ boost & playing higher rewarding games such as Firefight; logging in every day and winning a game of Arena and Warzone will also boost your REQ points
Hope this helped homie!

Playing multiplayer is how you unlock new armor. You have to earn req points and buy the packs with the in-game currency.
Warzone is the best way to earn req points, but I would stick with arena until you have leveled up and unlocked some extra weapons.

It may be worth noting that there are some special armors that are only obtainable with IRL currency atm such as the classic helmet pack. Sometimes these return to the RP market but you can never know when.
just play or credit card

I haven’t checked the store lately but cant you grind to like 150k req points for that still?? the only thing you have to pay for that is truly unique is the HALO pro series skins which you can get sweet pro team skins and with some luck the Halo series skins and armor which I love to don on my spartan you can only find those packs in the Microsoft store now I don’t know why they wouldn’t just keep them on the halo 5 store screen and also how the hell do they not add one of the greatest teams of all time in Final Boss! did Final Boss just not have team colors or logo but my goodness Final Boss needs a team bundle in infinite somehow
At this point in H5’s life cycle the only way you’re getting unlocks is through packs.
There are countless guides on youtube explaining how to unlock everything the fastest.
In summary:
- Always use RP boosts - If you don’t play warzone sell everything you get - Warzone Firefight is probably the fastest RP per hour but you should just play whatever you want - It’s optimal to unlock everything from silver packs before starting with gold packs
You know you have finished silver packs when they start refunding RP instead of unlocking items

IIRC both the Greatest hits and Classic Helmet req pack contain about 15 pieces of armor completely unattainable atm with anything other than IRL cash. Occasionally, very rarely, they return to the in game store for a few days before being taken off so if you are quick you can buy them for 150k RP, otherwise each will cost you $10 for $20 total ($9 each for $18 with Game Pass).
These are all needed to 100% armory completion stat, or if you just want to wear them in general.
Can you get armor pieces from bronze packs
You can play Warzone and use RP BOOSTS. Then whit de RP starts buying bronze packs if you don’t have all common armors, then you can buy silver packs to earn uncommon and rare armors, to finally buy gold packs for rare and legendary armors.
SO.
- If you want to earn all armors quickly, you should buy in the order I write.
- If you want to earn more req points to buy everything, play warzone modes and use uncommon boosts because if you use the common ones you will earn the same amount of RP like if you play socials but it will take you to double of time.
Sorry if my English is not the best.
*RP (Req Points)

Ahhh gotcha that’s lame as hell. I went ahead n just bought that stuff so I don’t really pay attention fully if it is there or not now I am just going for the rest of my unlocks. I think I am almost done with silver packs for rare -Yoink- then I can move onto gold packs for the rest. I just don’t have much time to play anymore. hopefully that will change when Infinite drops.
The only other way is by earning REQ points and you have to play multiplayer to earn them. I suggest going for silver packs to unlock commons & uncommon armor sets. Gold packs for the rest
Just play ans then buy packs, I recommend buying Bronze Packs untill you don’t get any unlockable for 3 times in a row, then go for the Silver Packs.
I am lvl 67 and I have dozens and dozens and dozens of armors, when I started to play this game I was eager to get more armors, now I have enough, I don’t even care anymore about them.
you can have some with the req points.
