Would I just go onto nexus mods like the old way or is there a new way to get them for the Windows Store/PC Game Pass version of the game?
Mods only on the Steam version:

Then what does this mean?
Second, if you are a Steam user or own the game on Win Store, there is a ModManifest.txt file which MCC will read in EAC-bypass to find mods on your computer. Each line in this file relates to a directory somewhere on your computer. Inside each of those directories MCC will then enumerate all immediate subdirectories looking for a ModInfo.json file, which it will then use to determine what, if any, content in the mod can be used.
Clearly it says Win Store version is supported.
Can i play mods on xbox?
Thought you were looking for mod tools.
That paragraph you quote does a poor job of explaining what to do.
So nobody knows, then?
that modmanifest.txt file contains all the directory locations of the mods you’ve installed so what you need to do is locate the physical folder for the mod you download on workshop copy the directory path of said folder and paste that into the modmanifest.txt file
Well, the modmanifest.txt should be inside AppData\LocalLow\MCC\Config, if is not there, you can create it and fill the txt file with the direction of where the descompressed mod is, the problem is that you need the modinfo.json, wich is only generated with “Halo MCC mod uploader tools”, an Steam exclusive tools, only avaliable for the ones who owns MCC on Steam… Basicaly, the Windows store is unmoddeable, unless someone uploads the modinfo.json, so I can try to mod it.
