How do I get Locus Helmet from App?

Ok so I got the king of the hill app for the iPhone. How do I get the helmet? Do I got to get a it’s good to be king medal on halo 4? If so there is no more king of the hill playlist?

Help Please.

Go to a 7-11.

Capture it.

Reload using a mountain dew and/or doritos label.

Hold the hill (the 7-11) for 100 hours (divided by the number of hills you control).

Bingo. You’ll get the locus helmet

My god I have to stay at a 7/11 for 100 hours… And there is no 7/11 where I’m at.

It’s a pain in the -Yoink- to get but you don’t have to stay there for 100 hours. once you are the king of a hill you get 1 point each hour on that hill. But the annoying thing is when people take your hill away from you so you have to head over to 7/11 and capture it again.

Just read the help files in the game. It explains everything.

And generally things are a lot easier now because the initial rush after release is over. Aside from a few farmers, no one is trying to capture hills in my area.

It does help that I can capture the closest 7-11 from my living room if I want/need to. I’m pretty sure that annoys the hell out of people who get the “someone has captured your hill” as they are driving away.

You may want to check the locator inside the app. There aren’t that many near me, but in the app there are 5 within quick driving distance that are part of the same parent company.
