Step 1: retake all the English classes in all the grades
Step 2: play Griffball and just stand in the corner if you wanna get banned
Step 3: play gruntpocalypse matchmaking
Step 4: play infection and get constantly killed by an inheritor camping in a corner
If you follow all of these steps, you will reach the hidden rank of space Jesus. Happy leveling!
Might as well just grind the game like everyone else
Try and complete the daily and weekly challenges. You get 2 achievements from completing them too.

You need to play the game…you have only played 15 games in halo reach match making and you are trying to get easy CRs already? JUST PLAY THE GAME!
Dude…play the game more, I’m a General Grade 3 (Almost Grade 4) for a reason
Just want to point out the grifball leveling up is highly frowned upon please dont do it

Just let me do some copying and pasting from a previous thread:
I found that Arcadefight works well for both practice and cR provided you do not choose the Fuel Rod Needler Jetpack Loadout, otherwise it gets rather boring and kind of takes away from the point of Arcadefight in the first place. It’s a great way to sharpen those Sniper Skills (As most people do choose the Fuel Rod loadout in Arcadefight) and outshoot others on most maps(Like Beachhead, Glacier, and Outpost), and when you get the maps like Waterfront and Corvette, those are a great time to get some practice with the Grenade Launcher Shotgun Armor Lock ‘Operator’ Loadout.
If people choosing the Fuel Rod loadout still causes an issue for you, if you have the Anniversary Map Pack, grab a friend, set the search settings to the most strict, and play some Anniversary Firefight, Arcadefight when the loading list comes up. This way, ther eis a high chance nobody else will join you, so the game basically creates the ‘Firefight Doubles’ scenario, and hence you and your friend can have fun without ending up with a migrane from your screen shaking with so much green.Just stay away from Firefight Limited. From my experience, people who end up playing that tend to be tryhards and when you get a Hero medal and bring everybody back, instead of praising you, they scold and yell at you for not ending the game, you know for playing the game as intended and surviving.
Score Attack is another fantastic suggestion if you want to play solo with no lag and earn decent amounts of cR. If you find regular Score Attack to be hard, in the Score attack playlist, keep an eye out for Gruntpocalypse, start with that and work your way up to the regular Score Attack. Keep an eye out for the Holdout map to start as well and work your way up to more open maps. Holdout is a great map to start with as it is easy to hold a good position from the main spawn point if you are strategic in all Score Attack variants.
Grifball is good if you can find seven friends and play the gametype as intended, which is to score the Objective. Otherwise, stay away from this playlist as people like to cheat with this playlist by boosting cR, K/D Ratio(Statpadding), and commedations via Spawncampkilling as well as boost cR through the Performance Bonus System by sitting around and doing nothing for 13-21 minutes. Both variants of boosting were not intended by the developer and are cheating. They violate LIVE Code of Conduct and people have been issued manual bans for boosting with either method from being reported.
Daily Challenges are also an excellent recommendation in most cases. Occasionally you will get the broken Daily CHallenges ‘Clip it, Share it’ or ‘Linked upto B.net’ which both do not work (the B.net one does if you linked up before the transition from Bungie to 343i, but for 1 cR? lol XD), but most daily challenges are working properly and are usually not that hard, unless you have to hunt for the BoB Elite (Gold Elite Ranger) in a level. When those pop up, all I can say is happy hunting if you are going to try.‘Light Fare’ as well as ‘Blastin and Relaxin’ and ‘Shootin and Lootin’ are the three Daily Challenges to keep an eye out for as they apply to any gamemode in Reach and are really easy to accomplish. I will say also keep an eye on the Weekly Challenges as once in a full moon, you will get one that requires a friend, and although it takes a bit to complete, it will be worth the payout. Also the Weekly challenge ‘Your Daily Dose’ is usually easy to get if you can spare the 2-5 hours to get all the daily challenges in one day.
Lastly, you can always play Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on the Xbox 360 with an active internet connection, find all the terminals, and then enter the glyph codes (When the Halo: Reach servers are active, not down) on the Halo Waypoint Xbox 360 app to earn 100,000 cR. Hopefully this advice helps you out

i don’t think the waypoint glyphs actually work anymore for Reach. I’ve tried them before when the servers were active after getting all the terminals and the game did not give me them.

Welp, that is kind of bad. Thanks for the heads up on that. Well the other advice still works and I hope that does help him out.
There’s no easy way to get cR, all you can do is grind the game like all of us, but that’s the most fun part about this game, right?
